GAMM Student Chapter Science Slam 2025

Maybe you remember a special event from previous years : The Science Slam! And even if you don't know about it, yet, there are exiting news for you: We are repeating it in 2025, only this time in Bochum!

So, first of all, a small reminder what this is about. The student chapters from Braunschweig, Bochum, Hannover and Hamburg organize a joint event to gather young researchers for a more informal exchange. So this is not an ordinary workshop. The idea is for you to open up discussions by giving entertaining talks about your research or a topic of your liking. Further, there will be a keynote talk from industry and a lot of time for chatting during breaks.

We will organise a joint travel from Hamburg to Bochum and back.
The most likely option is to take the train to Bochum on the day of the event, stay the night at a hotel and return on the following. We will provide you with more precise information, when we get an idea of the number of people interested. The goal is of course to cover the costs for everybody.
