General Assembly & Elections

The General Assembly of the SIAM & GAMM Student Chapter Hamburg took place on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 at 4pm, and was hosted by the University of Hamburg. At the meeting, members from all three universities in Hamburg were present.

The president of the chapter (Henrik Wyschka) gave an overview of the chapter's activities since the last election in 2024, described its financial situation, and showed the gain and loss of members. New rules of procedure were approved. Furthermore, the executive committee in the student chapter for the upcoming term was elected. The result of the election is:

President: Michael Koch

Vice-President: Constanze Neutsch

Treasurer: Kemal Firdaus

IT Officer & Secretary: Tim Suchan

Everyone in new executive committee accepted their elections and therefore the new executive committee is elected until the next General Assembly in 2026.

This is a gentle reminder for the **General Assembly** which takes place on **November 4th, 2025** at **4pm** in **room 1528** at the Geomatikum.

Based on some of our requested changes from the previous year, the GAMM adjusted their template for the rules of procedures. Hence, we should approve new rules of procedures for which a draft is attached. Most of the changes are due to legal reasons. However, our suggested change for potential senior memberships is also implicitly included. A document highlighting all changes is attached as well.
