General Assembly & Elections

The General Assembly of the SIAM & GAMM Student Chapter Hamburg took place on Wednesday, October 30th at 5pm, and was hosted by the University of Hamburg. At the meeting, members from all three universities in Hamburg were present.

The president of the chapter gave an overview of the chapter's activities since the last election in 2023, described its financial situation, and showed the gain and loss of members. Furthermore, the executive committee in the student chapter for the upcoming term was elected. The result of the election is:

President: Henrik Wyschka

Vice-President: Michael Koch

Treasurer & Secretary: Kemal Firdaus

IT Officer: Tim Suchan

Everyone in new executive committee accepted their elections and therefore the new executive committee is elected until the next General Assembly in 2025.

Initial Announcement:
We would like to invite all chapter members to the General Assembly of the chapter at

Wednesday, October 30th at 5pm in room 1528

in the Geomatikum. According to our rules of procedure, we are obliged to arrange such a meeting once a year with 2 weeks notice. The current board will give a short report of what happened in the last year, in particular considering finances. Further, some upcoming events for the next year will be presented. Most importantly, we have to elect a new board of officers for the academic year 2024/25. As always, some snacks and beverages will be provided during the event.
